Paint Correction

A paint correction is the process of buffing a vehicle’s paint to remove light scratches and swirls in the clear coat. This process requires an exemplary level of technique in order to not damage the vehicle’s paint. Every vehicle is different, which is why we offer several-step correction options. The recommended step correction is based on the level of scratches and swirls in the vehicle’s clear coat. A single-step correction would be applied to vehicles with light scratches and swirls. This includes most new cars, as most manufacturer’s paint does not come perfect from the factory. A two-step correction would be recommended for vehicles with many swirls and some deep scratches. This can be a result of normal wear on a vehicles paint, as well as, improper washing techniques. Lastly, a three-step correction is recommended for vehicles with heavy swirls and deeper scratches throughout. Whether it be a quick single-step correction or a lengthy three-step correction, AVANT has you covered to bring your paint back to life.
